Products are sold as Freight On Board (F.O.B.) from our location and shipped as a
convenience to our customer. This means that products become the property of the customer
during transit. Therefore it is the customer's responsibility to report claims for
damage. Packing and shipping charges are not included in any product warranties.
All orders are shipped F.O.B. so the buyer owns the goods during transit and therefore is responsible for filing
claims against carriers should the need arise. All shipments are accepted by carriers clear of
exceptions. It is the buyer's responsibility to check the order for
damage, shortages, overages upon receipt and file a compensation claim against the carrier
when damage is detected.
We make every effort to ensure products are packaged
properly. When the buyer receives the shipment, they should check
all packages for signs of damage before signing the freight bill. Having the
driver mark the freight bill when damage is apparent, and immediately
contacting the carrier will protect the buyer from shipping damages. It is also
important that goods be checked for concealed damage as soon as possible after delivery. A
freight line will not accept claims for hidden damage more than 10 days after receipt.
If hidden damage is discovered the buyer should hold on to all of the packaging
material, the shipper may wish to examine it. Feel free to call us if you have a problem and we will assist you.
